Congratulations to Colleen Jackson and John Cranston of Azizah Arabians International of Australia for their win with Azizah Shahzaad at the recent Scottsdale Arabian show in February 2017! Shahzaad was shown by Sandro Pinha in the Straight Egyptian Classes and was first in his age group and went on to win Reserve Champion Straight Egyptian Stallion!
Shahzaad is no stranger to the winners circle having won Reserve Junior Champion Straight Egyptian Colt at the same show in 2016 as well as Bronze Champion Egyptian Heritage Colt at the Scottsdale Breeders Show and having twice won the Straight Egyptian Futurity Colts at the Egyptian Event - once as a yearling and again last year as a two year old.
The sire of Shahzaad is the well known KA Damascus and Shahzaad is out of Saahara KA - the famous "cover girl" (photo to left) of Kehilan Arabians - now owned by Azizah Arabian International . This year be on the lookout not only for Shahzaad and Sandro at the Egyptian Event but for Shahzaads little sister - Azizah Saqaarah in the Straight Egyptian Yearling Filly Futurity. The little sister is a bay version and has very beguiling eyes - just like her big brother and Cover Girl Mom!!
